Be the first to train with renowned Russian dancer Artur Sultanov in his new studio this summer! We encourage dancers to register early.

We will hold an Intermediate-Advanced week long ballet intensive for children age 11+. This intensive geared towards the serious pre-professional student will include classes in technique, pas de deux, pointe, contemporary and Russian character dancing; all taught exclusively by Mr. Sultanov. Sultanov’s teaching style follows the world famous Vaganova method. He is a graduate of the internationally acclaimed Vaganova Academy located in his hometown of St. Petersburg, Russia. Famous alumni of the Academy include Mikhail Baryshnikov, George Balanchine, Rudolph Nureyev and Svetlana Zakharova. The Vaganova method trains dancers to express their movements with clarity and precision, while maintaining a softness underneath. An emphasis is placed on dancing with the entire body, the arms, the legs and the torso. A Vaganova trained dancer performs with technical precision, strength, creativity and emotion-evoking grace.
